The minutes from our last committee meeting (February) are now available for any interested parties to read at your leisure! I think the biggest and most important news from them is that we are no longer a Steering Group but are now officially the North Kessock Rowing Club Committee. Hurrah! The technical details are all in the minutes but following our registration as a charity the original steering group members are now trustees of the charity which means we can really begin our push for applying for charitable funding, grants etc.
Speaking of which, our deadline for paying for new our skiff (which is looking beautiful!) is fast approaching so if anyone wishes to donate to help us over the line or knows of any local companies looking to support a local venture then all help will be gratefully received at this point.
I believe we also have a small number of tables left for our next pub quiz (back by public demand!) which is on the 31st of March. If you’re interested (it was an absolute hoot last time) then see our other posts on how to book a table. All nautical jokes and puns welcome on the evening but hopefully there won’t be any men overboard by the end of the evening…sorry…
